BME のせいかつ
今日はとてもうつくしくあたたかいです。鳥が歌っています。外にたくさん人があります。子どもたちはあそんでいます。

Planet Foward Special: EWB-CU Ghana Program
私はEngineers Without Borders: USA - Columbia University ChapterのUganda Programのメンバーです。Uganda ProgramとE-Boardのしょきかん(secretary)です。EWB-CUのプログラムが三つあります。UgandaとGhanaとMoroccoでプロジェクトがあります。MoroccoはEWB-CUのいちばん新しいプログラムです。先週、Morocco Programはプログラムになりました。Morocco Programはおめでとう！
二、三しゅうかん前に、Ghana ProgramはWashington, DCへ行きました。PBSのPlanet Forward Specialのビデオにいます。Ghana ProgramのビデオをPlanet Specialのウェブサイトにだして、たくさんひとはGhanaのビデオをえらびました。ビデオはとてもおもしろいだから、見てください。
The Ghana program does work in Obodan, Ghana. They're working on latrines and a water distribution system for the community. The Uganda program works in Soroti, Uganda. Their main projects are the Multifunction Platform Engine (MFP), a diesel engine that utilizes biofuels, such as jatropha), and a rainwater harvesting system for Soroti Secondary School. はじめて高校へ行った時
私の思い出ははじめて高校へ行った時です。高校のなまえは「Hunter College High School」で、とてもいい高校です。学生が七年生から十二年生までいるから、ハンターはとくしゅな学校です。ハンターはマンハッタンの九十四ちょうめにあります。マンハッタンにあっても、いろいろなところから来た学生がいます。学生はクイーンズやブルックリンやブロンクスから来ました。
私はクイーンズのフラッシングにすんでいます。はじめて高校へ行った日、はやく起きなければなりませんでした。クラスは八時半にはじめたから、わたしは六時半に起きました。シャワーをあびて、朝ごはんを食べて、母と地下鉄でハンターへ行きました。いったとき、暗くて、ちょっとさむかったです。私はきんちょうしました。友達が近くの高校へ行ったから、ハンターの人をぜんぜんしりませんでした。
八時に九十六ちょうめの駅につきました。じゅうしょがあっても、ハンターを見つけることができませんでした。近くの人は私たちをつれて来てくれました。その人はとても親切でした。高校になる前に、ハンターのビルはアーマリーだったから、見つけることはむずかしかったです。もしその人がビルを見せなかったら、あのビルはしろだとおもいました。ビルが大きかったですが、まどがあまりありませんでした。ハンターを見た時、こわくなりましたが、わくわくしました。これは新しいはじまりだとおもいました。

シュワルツェネッガーのえいりてき （commercial)
インタネットでシュワルツェネッガーの日本のえいりてきをさがしだしました。シュワルツェネッガーはたくさん日本のえいりてきを作りました。とてもおもしろいだから、見てください！あかしい(funny)ですが、アィマニンVのえいりてき(3:59)はちょっとこわいです。。。

あまざけ
ポッドキャストのトピクはお酒がどのたべものとよくあいますか。（What food goes well with sake)
あまざけはあまいおさけです。べいこくであまざけをつくります。アルコールコンテントはあまりたかくないだからたくさんひとがあまざけをのむことができます。Wikipedia はあまざけのつかいことがあかご(babies)のたべものたどいいます。
ちゅごくのおなじよう(similar)のみものは酒酿(jiuniang)です。こどものころ そののみものをのむことができます。りょうしんはそれはあまいだといいますがわたしはあまりあまくないとおもいます。ぜんぜんおいしくないです。。。

About Communication
From this podcast project, my main goal is to learn more about Japanese culture and, more specifically, their horror genre, through the making of one of our own horror movies. I also wish to learn new vocabulary and grammar and to learn how to make a short video/podcast as I have never done that before. Through this podcast, our group hopes to convey our message about perfection and to do this, we need to be able to communicate effectively with the audience.
One barrier to this communication would be the language barrier. As we are filming a horror podcast, we would be using a lot of new vocabulary (suicide, death, etc). While we would be either providing a vocabulary list or putting subtitles for new words, we hope to mainly convey our thoughts and feelings through our facial and body movements. Facial expressions and gestures are mostly universal and are great tools for communication. Expressions of shock, fear, anger, and sadness are understood by everyone.
We also need to make sure our message is simple and understandable. It needs to be easily communicated to the audience via our script. If it's too convoluted, it would be hard for our both our classmates and the Japanese speaking audience to understand. For example, we didn't make our message that clear through our podcast proposal and we could tell that some commenters completely missed what we wanted to convey.
