私はEngineers Without Borders: USA - Columbia University ChapterのUganda Programのメンバーです。Uganda ProgramとE-Boardのしょきかん(secretary)です。EWB-CUのプログラムが三つあります。UgandaとGhanaとMoroccoでプロジェクトがあります。MoroccoはEWB-CUのいちばん新しいプログラムです。先週、Morocco Programはプログラムになりました。Morocco Programはおめでとう！
二、三しゅうかん前に、Ghana ProgramはWashington, DCへ行きました。PBSのPlanet Forward Specialのビデオにいます。Ghana ProgramのビデオをPlanet Specialのウェブサイトにだして、たくさんひとはGhanaのビデオをえらびました。ビデオはとてもおもしろいだから、見てください。
The Ghana program does work in Obodan, Ghana. They're working on latrines and a water distribution system for the community. The Uganda program works in Soroti, Uganda. Their main projects are the Multifunction Platform Engine (MFP), a diesel engine that utilizes biofuels, such as jatropha), and a rainwater harvesting system for Soroti Secondary School.
